OUR MISSION
Project HEALTH works to break the link between poverty and poor health by mobilizing college students to provide sustained public health interventions in partnership with urban medical centers, universities, and community organizations.
Our clinic-based help desks use the doctors office as a point of intervention to connect families with critical resources, such as food, housing, and childcare.
Our afterschool programs provide children facing chronic illness with the skills and knowledge to take care of their health, as well as the intensive academic and peer support necessary to realize their full potential in school and in life.

Julia Martin, Youth Programs Manager
Rebecca co-founded Project HEALTH with Dr. Barry Zuckerman during her second year at Harvard College. After graduation, she served as Executive Director of Project HEALTH for three years, overseeing Project HEALTH’s growth to Providence and Harlem.
Meghan Chapman, Executive Assistant
Meghan Chapman is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin- Madison where she received her BBA in Finance. Meghan’s personal commitment to and interest in public health lead her to pursue opportunities outside of the business world.
Rebecca Onie, Executive Director
Rebecca co-founded Project HEALTH with Dr. Barry Zuckerman during her second year at Harvard College. After graduation, she served as Executive Director of Project HEALTH for three years, overseeing Project HEALTH’s growth to Providence and Harlem.
